I didn’t know that fateful afternoon I would find my new best friend………SlideShare! I didn’t know SlideShare existed before taking Web2.0 and now I am so happy I found it. I love having new and fresh concepts readily available. I just scroll through the topic I am interested in and view the accompanying slides. I don’t have to spend a large amount of time and if I come across something I want to know more about then I can do a more extensive search. A new world has opened to me with ideas I didn’t know were floating around out there. Of course with anything floating around on the internet, you will need to think for yourself. Some of the slides are misleading, some present a bias, and so forth.
Here is a slide containing quotes about education, what is your favorite?

I also LOVE slideshare! I uploaded some resources there this weekend for use in my knowledge sharing project. It was so easy to use and the material already there is fascinating. A little something visual on just about every topic. I really like the tagging system as well. You can use whatever tags you want, but it does make suggestions as you type. I chose to use some, ignore some.
